Paulina Calcaterra, Psy.D
Perinatal Psychology Fellow
Dr. Calcaterra is a postdoctoral fellow with a background in trauma treatment. She has engaged in prevention and advocacy efforts for survivors of gender-based violence. Dr. Calcaterra received her PsyD from the Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She completed her doctoral internship at the Manhattan VA, providing trauma-informed care to a diverse population of veterans. Her research examined the impact of internalized weight stigma on disordered eating and the efficacy of weight-neutral frameworks such as Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating. She has specialized training in couple’s therapy. She is passionate about providing affirming, trauma-informed care to birthing parents.
