Anika Alix, Ph.D.
Perinatal Psychology Fellow
Dr. Alix is a post-doctoral fellow specializing in perinatal mental health. She attended the University of Miami for undergraduate studies where she received a B.A. in French Language and Psychology. Following this, Dr. Alix received her M.A. and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Alix completed her clinical externship in the Women’s Inpatient Unit at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, Westchester Division, and worked as a psychology intern at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Alix’s research focuses on the prevalence, experience, and prevention of mistreatment in childbirth and explores effective and feasible treatments for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
