Ceciley Scarbrough is a board-eligible psychiatrist training in reproductive psychiatry. She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology, with a concentration in mental health, from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. Afterwards, she received her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in psychiatry at Northwell Health / Zucker Hillside Hospital. Ceciley participated in the Perinatal Pathway to Expertise throughout her residency, where she received mentorship from experts in the field as well as focused her elective time on caring for women in the perinatal period. She also completed a scoping review on the safety and efficacy of utilizing electroconvulsive therapy in pregnancy, which she presented at the Marce of North America 2023 conference.
