Maternal Mental Health Outreach Coordinator
The Maternal Mental Health Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) with expert clinical care at The Motherhood Center. This position focuses on building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, providing community education, and facilitating support groups. While outreach and relationship building are essential, the primary focus is on ensuring access to care and providing support for vulnerable populations. This role works within the NY/NJ area and collaborates with the marketing and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care. Learn more about the position and how to apply.Outpatient Therapist
TMC is growing and we are looking to hire a part-time (minimum of 24 hours per week) or full-time (30-40 hours per week) independently licensed therapist for our Outpatient Service. As a therapist at TMC you will:- Provide individual therapy to patients admitted to our Outpatient Service. Treatment includes Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dyadic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Bases Stress Reduction, and family/couples therapy.
- Facilitate group therapy and/or support groups as needed.
- Conduct new patient evaluations and provide ongoing individual, couples, and dyadic therapies.
- Perform other clinical responsibilities as needed
Perinatal Nursery Intern
The Perinatal Nursery Intern will gain experience caring for infants whose mothers are receiving perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD) treatment services at the day treatment program. PMADs include depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and psychosis. She/he/they will learn about clinical PMAD intervention between mother and baby, how to engage and respond to mothers with these disorders, and receive hands-on experience learning about child and infant care and development. This is a full-time salaried position in person/ some virtual at our midtown Manhattan office. The Administrative Coordinator is one of the most important roles at The Motherhood Center, providing an initial point of contact to pregnant and postpartum people struggling with maternal mental health conditions, in search of support and clinical care. We are looking for a co-facilitator in our Day Program. This is a paid position for 15-30 hours per week, depending on needs. In this role, you will assist our Day Program Coordinator and clinicians with scheduling and communications. You will also assist patients as needed. This is a unique opportunity to get on-the-ground experience for college or graduate students pursuing degrees in psychology or social work with an interest in perinatal mental health. The Nursery Assistant cares for infants in the nursery whose mothers are receiving services at the day treatment program. They will assist in overseeing and scheduling nursery volunteers and will perform other job-related duties as required or directed.
